Foundation Scholarships

Bridge to Success

The Bridge to Success Fund was established to provide support for a deserving full-time international student who has been accepted or conditionally accepted into UW- Eau Claire for a degree program, but whose admittance into his/her chosen area of studies is postponed due to low English placement test scores (Compass test). The scholarship will be awarded at the end of fall semester to a student who has proven to be highly motivated, not funded by a grant, and will be continuing in the English Language Academy spring semester. The scholarship award will be applied to tuition. Preference will be given to Latin American students and/or international students with financial need.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: By a committee of the Foreign

Languages Department.

SELECTION DEADLINE: End of fall semester.

NOTIFICATION: By Chair of the Department of Foreign

Languages. The department chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
