Foundation Scholarships

Biology Graduate Student

The Biology Graduate Student Scholarship is to be awarded to an outstanding resident graduate student seeking their Biology Master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. The student should be in the last year of the program, preferably in last or second-to-last semester of thesis work, with a minimum GPA of 3.40. The award can only be received once.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Department of Biology Scholarship Committee, which has faculty representation from the major subdisciplines of biology. Applications will be evaluated both in terms of their academic merit and their compatibility with award eligibility criteria.

Official notification will be sent to the recipient by the Chair of Biology. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

The recipient should send a thank-you note to Lisa Scribner in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Schofield 214.
