Belter, Cecelia M. Award for Community Action

Recognizes outstanding service by an undergraduate student to promote women’s issues to the university or the Chippewa Valley, through (but not limited to) class project, service learning, program development, or student organization activities.

Nominations need to be received through faculty staff mentor.

Early spring, exact date varies

A Women’s Studies Faculty committee reviews all projects and selects the award winner.

Prior to the Women’s Studies Celebration held during Women’s History month in March.

Recipient is announced at the annual Women’s Studies Celebration held during Women’s History Month. The Director of Women’s Studies shall complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.
