ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Awards will be given to students who are juniors in Political Science at UW-Eau Claire.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Students will be asked to submit their best written work for consideration.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

March of each academic year

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The department will appoint a committee of faculty to solicit, assess, and award the outstanding political science papers.

SELECTION DEADLINE:

The recipients will be selected prior to the department’s honor ceremony in late April.

NOTIFICATION:

The Political Science Department Chair will send a completed “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office prior to June 1. The scholarship award will be paid to the students’ accounts the following August during registration.

SPECIAL NOTES:

The recipients are encouraged to send a thank-you note to Dr. Karl Andresen in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office, S-214.
