The first annual "IEGH Learning Community Photo Contest" will be held this winter season. Photos of your travels must be submitted prior to February 12th, 2009. Winning photgraphs will be mounted and displayed in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences building. For more information and an entry form please link to IEGH Photo Contest 2009.

Costa Rica! This study abroad program held each summer integrates NSYS 377:"International Dimensions of Health Care Systems" into your travels. This course explores health care delivery systems in selected foreign countries, as well as, the cultural, social, political, economic, and environmental factors that influence them. Ongoing Activities

Check out the IE&GH display case outside room 104. The displays, which show case photos, arts, crafts, and other souvenirs, are provided by students and faculty who want to share their trans-cultural or international experience with you.The current display, created by faculty Cheryl Lapp, presents artifacts, clothing and photographs of Thailand. Displays are changed each semester. If you would like to provide a display contact Bob Lieske at blieske@uwec.edu.

IE&GH is always looking for students and faculty who are interested in presenting their trans-cultural or international experience. If interested, contact Jayne Bielecki at bielecjm@uwec.edu.

Fundraising is done by the IE&GH Learning Community as needed. Money is used for special events and projects sponsored by the community. Stay tuned!
