Alaska

Students who are entering NRSG 438 in the fall semester may elect to travel to Anchorage , Alaska for this clinical course. Online course work is done in July and the trip is taken in August for ten days. The focus of the course is the application of the clinical decision making process with children, adolescents, and families experiencing health deviations or having a high-risk status. Particular attention is given to the family unit and community health issues of the Alaska population.
