A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree leads to many career options in the health care system. These may be in acute care hospitals, long term care agencies, home care, or community health settings among others. Students in the school receive clinical laboratory experience in all of these settings. Besides using the resources of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) and Skills Lab, students also practice in the Nursing Centers for Health which offers health care service to the community.
The Master of Science in Nursing program prepares nurses for leadership and scholarship roles as advanced clinical practitioners, educators or administrators. Clinical specialization in Adult Health Nursing or Family Health Nursing is offered.
Continuing Education offers programs to assist Registered Nurses to enhance their expertise throughout their careers.
The Baccalaureate and Master's programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education through December 2011.
