Sept. 29 Career Conference open to students, alumni

EAU CLAIRE — More than 100 organizations will participate in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's 54th annual Career Conference, which will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 29 in Zorn Arena.

The Career Conference offers students and alumni opportunities to discuss career plans, exchange resumes and make preliminary contacts with participating organizations. Employers may follow up with more formal interviews, as well as provide information about internships.

Organizations that send representatives to the Career Conference include businesses, graduate schools, and state and federal agencies.

Participating employers can attend a preconference reception, sponsored by the Student Accounting Society, from 7-9:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Holiday Inn in Eau Claire. Students and faculty can network with company representatives at the reception.

The Career Conference is open to all UW-Eau Claire students and alumni.

The event is sponsored by the campus business fraternity Beta Upsilon Sigma in association with UW-Eau Claire Career Services.
