EAU CLAIRE — A Sept. 15 reception will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month activities at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The welcome reception will run from 4-6 p.m. in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center.
UW-Eau Claire's Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Student Organization of Latinos/as will sponsor the reception to allow returning and incoming Latino students to connect with other students as well as faculty and staff.
Additional Hispanic Heritage Month events are as follows.
Hispanic Heritage Month events are sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs; Latin American Studies program; women's studies program; UW-Eau Claire Foundation; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Education and Human Sciences; McIntyre Library; Center for International Education; and the departments of economics, education studies, English, foreign languages, geography and anthropology, history, mathematics, political science and sociology.
