EAU CLAIRE — London-based solo artist Lianne La Havas will open the Dec. 12 and 13 concerts by Bon Iver at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The 22-year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist made her television debut in the Oct. 21 BBC Two broadcast of "Later — With Jools Holland," a program that also featured Bon Iver. She will tour in support of the Wisconsin band for its North American tour.
Formerly a backing singer for Paloma Faith and Rox, La Havas just released an EP titled "Lost & Found." She has been signed to Warner Bros. to work on her debut album.
The concert is sponsored by University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate and Volume One Magazine.
