SUBJECT: The View feature stories now online
Feature stories from the fall 2011 issue of The View, UW-Eau Claire's alumni magazine, are now online. Media interested in using the stories and photos in their own publications are welcome to do so.
Among the stories in this issue is a feature about two Chippewa Falls natives who discovered a passion for the fair industry as youngsters by visiting and later working for the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. The friends now each hold leadership positions at the state fairs in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Eau Claire native Brandon Wick is one of the students featured in a story about an international immersion story that took a group of students to Argentina for a semester.
A third story provides an overview of several major building projects on campus, the first such projects to occur on campus in decades.
The final story features a successful California corporate attorney whose experience running cross country at UW-Eau Claire helped her discover her leadership potential.
