EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics team continued its success at two recent competitions in Minnesota.
UW-Eau Claire's team competed in the Larry Schnoor Invitational Tournament Oct. 15 at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and the Bill Robertz Invitational Oct. 16 at Gustavus Adolphus College.
The UW-Eau Claire team placed fourth in team sweepstakes at the Larry Schnoor Invitational Tournament and fifth at the Bill Robertz Invitational.
Individual results for Oct. 15 are as follows:
Senior Holly Albers, Mazeppa, Minn., placed fifth in program oral interpretation and third in informative speaking. Albers also placed fifth in prose interpretation and first in poetry interpretation, which qualified her for the National Forensic Association tournament in those events.
Senior Natalie Hunter, Vadnais Heights, Minn., placed fourth in dramatic interpretation, informative speaking and program oral interpretation.
Individual results for Oct. 16 are as follows:
Albers placed second in informative speaking, qualifying her for the American Forensics Association tournament later. She also placed third in poetry interpretation and fifth in prose.
Hunter placed fifth in informative speaking and second in dramatic interpretation.
Junior Abby Rand, Melrose, placed seventh in informative speaking, which qualified her for the National Forensic Association tournament in that event.
