Music events for week of Oct. 23

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Oct. 23. Unless noted otherwise, all events will be held in the Haas Fine Arts Center, and events are free and open to the public.

Sunday, Oct. 23:

• Faculty Recital: Doug O'Connor, saxophone, with guest artist Sean Connors, percussion. 2 p.m., Gantner Concert Hall. More information.

Tuesday, Oct. 25:

• Guest Recital: Matthew McCright, piano, with the New Music Ensemble. 7:30 p.m., Gantner Concert Hall. More information.

Wednesday, Oct. 26:

• Theatre Production: "The Oresteia." 7:30 p.m., Kjer Theatre. More information, including ticket prices.

Thursday, Oct. 27:

• Theatre Production: "The Oresteia." 7:30 p.m., Kjer Theatre. More information, including ticket prices.

Friday, Oct. 28:
