EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Chinese Culture Club will host weekly conversational Mandarin Chinese language practice sessions Thursdays during the fall semester, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Katharine Thomas Hall TV lounge.
The first Thursday of every month will be a Mahjong night, offering participants the opportunity to learn the ancient game of strategy while learning and practicing Chinese.
The sessions are sponsored by Katharine Thomas Hall, the Center for International Education and the Chinese Culture Club. The events are free and open to students, faculty and staff.
