EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire will co-host a series of events about sustainable food practices during the Food for Thought Film Series.
The Food for Thought Film Series will begin with "Forks over Knives" at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center. Local and regional experts will speak and lead discussions after each film. Speakers for the first film will include Tammy Schwartz, Dr. Laura Bertram, Cheri Dostal, Jeremy Bucholz and Dr. Robyn Sandin.
The eight-week series, which will include four events in Eau Claire and four events in Menomonie, is a collaboration between students and staff at UW-Eau Claire and UW-Stout, as well as local sponsors. The sponsors make up the Films and Resources Encouraging Sustainability and Health organization.
All films will begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional Food for Thought films are as follows:
