SUBJECT: Chancellor Levin-Stankevich joins UW System leaders in renewed call for Wisconsin Idea Partnership

As the Wisconsin State Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance takes up the UW System budget for 2011-13, system leaders, in an open letter to all state legislators, today reiterated their call for statutory changes that would let UW institutions operate more efficiently.

UW-Eau Claire Chancellor Brian Levin-Stankevich is available after 4:30 p.m. today and from 10 a.m.-noon May 12 to talk with reporters about today's renewed call for flexibilities for UW System universities and colleges, and about the system's readiness to implement those flexibilities through the Wisconsin Idea Partnership.
