RELEASED: May 5, 2011

EAU CLAIRE — Two bands will be featured at a special evening concert May 12 that will highlight Springfest, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's annual campus celebration of music and spring. The Springfest Showcase Concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on the Central Campus Mall (rain site: Schofield Auditorium). Admission is free.

All the Right Moves is a pop-rock band that created a buzz in the Minneapolis music scene with its 2008 self-titled EP. Featured on "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" (MTV) and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" (E!), the band has followed up with a second EP, "The Monster I've Become" (2010) and a seven-song acoustic album. They have shared the stage with many national acts and played select dates throughout the Midwest on the Vans Warped Tour in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

"Combining infectious pop hooks with tight vocal harmonies and melodious piano and violin riffs, ATRM manages to add their own orchestral edge to their pop/punk sound," wrote Substream Magazine. "The end result is meaningful lyrics with melodies in a distinctly different style that just makes you want to dance."

Incriminating Silence, a heavy metal band from Eau Claire, also will be featured.

The show is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the Student Senate.
