EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Women's Chorus, under the direction of Richard Moses, associate lecturer of music, will perform its spring concert at 7:30 p.m. May 9 in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The concert will feature student conductor Krysten Olson, a senior from Ladysmith, as well as accompanist Hannah Olson, a senior from Bloomer. Guest ensemble "Girls Night Out," an all female a cappella group, also will perform.
The Women's Chorus consists of 70 women from a variety of academic programs at UW-Eau Claire. Members are selected through audition, and the group performs one concert each semester in Gantner Concert Hall, as well as various other performances throughout the year.
Tickets, available online and at the University Service Center, 715-836-3727 or 800-949-UWEC, are $5 for adults; $3 for seniors, those 17 and younger, and faculty and staff with a university ID; and free for UW-Eau Claire students with a student ID.
