EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Center for Business Solutions will present "Doing Business Globally 2011" from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. May 12 at the 29 Pines/Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center.
Designed for businesses that are currently exporting or considering doing so, the program will focus on the pros and cons of exporting, developing international markets, current market conditions and opportunities around the world. Wisconsin Department of Commerce international directors from Brazil, Canada, China and Mexico will answer questions and provide export information. No cost, one-on-one appointments with the international directors also may be scheduled.
Speakers from Realityworks Inc., Bently World-Packaging Ltd. and the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery will share their exporting experiences. Other program topics will be:
The program fee is $49 per person and includes lunch. The conference is sponsored by Momentum West; The Geo Group Corp.; and the CBS, Continuing Education and the Small Business Development Center. It was developed in partnership with Northern Wisconsin International Trade Association, Wisconsin Department of Commerce, Realityworks Inc., Ellsworth Cooperative Creamer and Bentley World-Packaging Ltd.
