Premiere of Aldo Leopold documentary to screen April 19

Green Fire PosterEAU CLAIRE — The first high-definition documentary about legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold will be shown at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire April 19.

"Green Fire" presents highlights from Leopold's extraordinary life and career and illustrates how his vision of a community that cares about both people and land continues to inspire projects around the world. It will be shown at 7 p.m. in Schofield Auditorium.

The UW-Eau Claire Environmental Adventure Center is offering this event in support of UW-Eau Claire's departments of biology, English, and geography and anthropology; the Watershed Institute; Confluence Center; Campus Sustainability Fellow program; and interested student and community organizations.

Tickets, available at the University Service Center, 715-836-3727 or 800-949-UWEC, are $8 for the general public and UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff; and $5 for students with a university ID.
