Musicians invited to audition for
Springfest by April 4

RELEASED: March 22, 2011

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is welcoming audition materials from area musicians who wish to be featured during Springfest, the annual celebration of music and spring to be presented May 9-13.

Samples of music must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. April 4. CDs, tapes, biographical materials and band information may be delivered to the Activities and Programs office, Davies Center 133. Web links may be e-mailed to Jim Brockpahler, student activities and information management coordinator, at brockpja@uwec.edu. Submissions must include contact information (name, telephone number and e-mail address).

The free festival on the Central Campus Mall runs from noon-1 p.m. each weekday during Springfest. The University Activities Commission of the Student Senate sponsors Springfest, a campus tradition since 1986.
