Summer percussion camp for high school students to run June 13-17

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will offer a "Total Percussion Camp" for high school students from June 13-17.

Classes will meet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-noon at UW-Eau Claire. Associate professor of music Dr. Jeffery Crowell will be the instructor.

The "Total Percussion Camp" provides instruction and performance in all areas of percussion including mallet, drum set, timpani, concert, marching and world percussion. New and experienced drummers are welcome. Drums, sticks and mallets are provided, or students may bring their own.

The camp fee is $149 for 15 hours of instruction, equipment use and materials.
