Art faculty member to exhibit works at Mabel Tainter through April 29

This and other photos and video projections are featured in Jyl Kelley's exhibit, "Home Theater," which runs March 22-April 29 at the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts in Menomonie.

EAU CLAIRE — "Home Theater," an exhibit featuring works by Jyl Kelley, assistant professor of art & design at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, will run March 22-April 29 at the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts in Menomonie.

"'Home Theater' investigates imitative magic, illusion and science in mainstream culture through photographs and video projections involving video gaming," Kelley said.

The exhibit's opening reception will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. March 25. The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts, 205 Main St., Menomonie, is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sundays.
