Supervisory management workshops to be offered in March and April

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Center for Business Solutions will present workshops from its Supervisory Management Certificate Program in March and April. Designed for managers, supervisors and small business owners, workshops may be taken individually or as part of the certificate program requirements. Programs will meet from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at Sweetwaters Restaurant in Eau Claire or the Citizens State Bank, Hudson.

The following workshops will be offered:

"Supervisory Management 2" will be held March 31-April 1 at Sweetwaters Restaurant in Eau Claire. Topics will include establishing orientation policies and procedures, understanding communication behaviors, time management, delegating and developing employees.

"Supervisory Management 1" will be held April 7-8 at the Citizens State Bank in Hudson. Topics will include the supervisory aspect of management, understanding your leadership style, motivating employee performance and dealing with nonperformance.

"Improving Managerial Efficiency" will be held April 28-29 at Sweetwaters Restaurant in Eau Claire. Topics will include how to gain productive work time, techniques for paper handling, prioritizing and organizing work, project planning, accelerated learning, speed-reading, mind mapping and memory enhancement.

The individual course fee is $450 per person and includes lunch, materials and instruction. A discount of $50 per seminar is allowed for three or more registrations. Registrations may be any combination of attendees or seminars from the entire Supervisory Management Certificate Program and must be received at the same time.
