EAU CLAIRE — Art & design students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire can now pull all-nighters in the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The "Haas Fine Arts After-Hours Project" grants 24-hour access to certain classrooms and studios for students enrolled in studio art courses. The following security precautions have been taken:
UW-Eau Claire student Matt Sias, Hudson, a senior information systems major and director of the Student Senate Information Technology Commission, spearheaded the initiative for increased student access to the Haas Fine Arts Center. Responses to a survey of art & design students before the initiation of the project showed strong interest in 24-hour access.
