TO: News Editors and Directors

FROM: Ann Hoffman

DATE: June 15, 2011

SUBJECT: Area students to perform in NATS recital June 16

Seven students from the region will be among 24 UW-Eau Claire and Eau Claire high school students performing in a recital June 16 to close the National Association of Teachers of Singing Summer Intern Program at UW-Eau Claire. The free recital begins at 2 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

NATS is the largest professional association of teachers of singing in the world with more than 7,000 members in the U.S., Canada and 25 other countries.
