EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education's Center for Business Solutions will offer a seminar on doing business with India from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Holiday Inn-Campus Area in Eau Claire.
"India: Steps for Business Success" is designed for businesses planning to expand into India markets. The event is sponsored by the Northern Wisconsin International Trade Association, the Small Business Development Center, The Geo Group Corp. Translation Services and the UW-Madison School of Business Center for International Business Education and Research.
Topics to be covered include:
Representatives from Harley-Davidson, Cargill International, Cooperative Resources International, Schreiber Foods and Spacelabs Healthcare will share their experiences doing business with India.
The cost to attend is $49 per person and includes materials, instruction, refreshments and lunch. A discounted rate of $20 is available to students.
The CBS provides access to recognized experts, high quality programs and valuable resources within the university, including customized contract training for businesses or organizations; confidential, no-cost business counseling; and seminars, workshops and certificate programs. Additional resources and support are available through the Small Business
Development Center and the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs' Network regional office.
This seminar is sponsored by the SBDC at UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education. The SBDC, funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, is a member of the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs' Network, a coalition of more than
100 organizations that provides access to services for small businesses throughout Wisconsin.
