EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Feb. 27. All events are free and open to the public.
Sunday, Feb. 27:
A faculty chamber music recital will begin at 2 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The following UW-Eau Claire faculty members will be featured: Dr. Tim Lane, professor of music, on flute; Allison Ostrander, lecturer of music, on violin; Dr. Tulio Rondón, assistant professor of music, on cello; and Dr. Barbara Young, lecturer of music, on piano. Guest musicians will be Charles Tibbets on horn, Eva Tibbets on viola and Emily Hueschle on violin and viola. The group will perform "Overture to Prometheus" by Ludwig van Beethoven, Horn Quintet in E-flat major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Symphony No. 95 in C minor by Franz Joseph Haydn.
