Forever the Sickest KidsEAU CLAIRE — Pop-punk band Forever the Sickest Kids will appear in concert Feb. 16 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Doors will open at 7 p.m. for the show in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center.

Public ticket sales begin Feb. 7, with a special advance sale Feb. 3-6 for UW-Eau Claire students only.

"There isn't a person on the planet that could've predicted that the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area would be the breeding ground for a new strain of loop-driven pop-punk," wrote Alternative Press, which praised Forever the Sickest Kids for blending "hip-hop grooves, pop songs and loud guitars into an alloy that's charmed audiences all over the world."

Forever the Sickest Kids is composed of Jonathan Cook (vocals), Austin Bello (bass, vocals), Caleb Turman (guitar, vocals), Marc Stewart (guitar) and Kyle Burns (drums).

The show is open to all ages. Tickets are $12 ($8 with a UW-Eau Claire student ID card) at the Service Center in the east lobby of Davies Center. The Service Center is open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Patrons may also charge their tickets to Discover, MasterCard or Visa when they purchase online or order by phone, starting Feb. 7. Call 715-836-3727 or, outside the immediate Eau Claire area, call toll-free 800-949-UWEC. A $3 handling fee will be added to all online and telephone charge orders.

The concert is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
