Valentine's Day raffle to benefit student organizations

RELEASED: Feb. 1, 2011

EAU CLAIRE — A Valentine's Day raffle to benefit the Student Organizations Opportunity Fund is under way at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The fund provides financial support to recognized student organizations for events and activities.

The prize package includes a $50 gift certificate for a fresh flower arrangement from Brent Douglas, a $30 Olive Garden gift card, two tickets to Micon Cinemas and an arrangement of sweet treats from Festival Foods. The prize package is valued at $125.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Tickets may be purchased in the Student Organizations Complex in Davies Center 132 and at the Blugold Organizations Bash Feb. 2.

The drawing will take place at noon Feb. 9 in the Activities and Programs office, the sponsor of the raffle.
