Media Memo: Zorn Arena news conference

SUBJECT:  Zorn Arena news conference

Reporters and photographers are invited to attend a news conference at 2 p.m. today (Dec. 15) in UW-Eau Claire's Zorn Arena, where the UW-Eau Claire Foundation will make an announcement regarding the naming of the arena's basketball court.

Speaking at the news conference will be UW-Eau Claire Chancellor Brian Levin-Stankevich, UW-Eau Claire alumni and former Blugold men's basketball players Todd Oehrlein and Tim Valentyn, and Blugold men's basketball coach Kyle Green.

A news release sharing details of today's announcement will be distributed to media and posted on the UW-Eau Claire website shortly after 2 p.m. today for those unable to attend the news conference.

The chancellor and others will be available to answer questions during the news conference.
