UW-Eau Claire announces Bon Iver concert details for ticketholders

RELEASED: Dec. 8, 2011

EAU CLAIRE — Doors will open at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 and 13 for the 8 p.m. concerts featuring Grammy-nominated indie-rock band Bon Iver in Zorn Arena at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, the alma mater of Bon Iver's leader/singer-songwriter Justin Vernon and band member Sean Carey. London-based solo artist Lianne La Havas will open the concerts.

All tickets for the Dec. 12 concert are general admission. The first 2,800 ticketholders to enter the arena Dec. 12 will be admitted to the main floor and bleacher area, and all additional ticketholders will be directed to seating in the arena's galleries. Ticketholders for the Dec. 12 concert will line up starting at the north Zorn Arena entrance, and the line will form to the west along the Garfield Avenue sidewalk.

Tickets for reserved floor seating, general admission bleacher seating and general admission gallery seating were sold for the Dec. 13 concert. Ticketholders for the Dec. 13 concert will enter through the Zorn Arena north doors as directed by signage.

No parking will be allowed in UW-Eau Claire's Zorn Arena lot for either concert. Ticketholders arriving on campus before 3 p.m. on either concert date may park without a permit in the Haas Fine Arts lot, where usual permit restrictions will not be enforced. Concertgoers may also park in any F or S spot in any university lot after 3 p.m. and in any F, S or GF spot after 6 p.m. See the UW-Eau Claire campus map for lot locations.

No backpacks, large bags, professional cameras or alcohol will be allowed in the arena for the concerts, and purses will be subject to search.
