UW-Eau Claire synchronized skaters to perform Dec. 2, 10

RELEASED: Dec. 2, 2011

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Figure Skating Club's synchronized skating team will perform between periods of the university's women's hockey game tonight and men's hockey game Dec. 10. Both games will begin at 7 p.m. at Hobbs Ice Center in Eau Claire.

Twelve members of the synchronized skating team will perform to music from the movie "Inception."

The synchronized skating team competes at the open collegiate level as a registered member of U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating. In addition to competitions and performances at UW-Eau Claire men's and women's hockey games, the team does guest performances at area ice shows, including the Eau Claire Figure Skating Club's annual spring show.
