Vesper student awarded 3M Accounting Scholarship

RELEASED: Aug. 30, 2011

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire freshman Katrina Elgersma, Vesper, has been awarded a 3M Accounting Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year.

The scholarship, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, is awarded annually to an incoming full-time freshman who plans to major in accounting at UW-Eau Claire and work in the profession upon graduation. Selection is based on academic achievement, national test scores, and school and community leadership and service.

UW-Eau Claire is frequently recognized as one of the nation's best educational values.
