EAU CLAIRE — A University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire nursing student recently was named the legislative vice president of the Wisconsin Student Nurses Association.
Natalie Nicholas, Waupun, is a senior nursing major and Spanish for health professions minor. She ran for the position at the annual WSNA convention in February. Three other students also ran for positions on the board. Maggie Wolf, Minnetonka, Minn., and Sarah Johnson, Poplar, now serve as elected co-consultants.
WSNA was established in 1949. It is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in accredited nursing programs throughout Wisconsin. If students join the National Student Nurses Association, they automatically become members of the WSNA.
