RELEASED: April 7, 2011

EAU CLAIRE — The women of Sigma Sigma Sigma will hold a philanthropic inflatable jousting event at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire April 13 on the campus mall.

The event will take place from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Funds raised through the event will benefit the official Tri Sigma philanthropy, the Robbie Page Memorial. The memorial was established to commemorate the son of its fourth president, who died of polio as a child. The fund focuses on aiding children through play therapy. The event, which is open to the public, costs $2 per play.

Sigma Sigma Sigma is a national sorority, with the Gamma Lambda chapter located on the UW-Eau Claire campus. For more information, visit the Sigma Sigma Sigma website.
