EAU CLAIRE — A campuswide "Idea Challenge" is being held at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire through April 11. The Idea Challenge is a competitive opportunity for any student to write a business plan and potentially turn that business idea into reality.

Winners will receive up to $3,000 toward a new business startup. A random drawing from among eligible entries will be held for a $50 Action City gift card.

Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. April 11, and all who submit ideas will receive a free Idea Challenge T-shirt. A presentation for the top three finalists is planned for April 30.

Applications may be submitted online. Event sponsors include the Collegiate Entrepreneur's Organization, Students in Free Enterprise and the Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corp.
