Explore a world of opportunity at Study Abroad Fair Oct. 7

RELEASED: Sept. 30, 2010

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students and faculty can find an abundance of information about opportunities to study and experience life in countries such as the Czech Republic, Japan, Nicaragua and South Africa at the Study Abroad Fair to be held from 3-5:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center. The event, sponsored by the Center for International Education, will showcase study abroad programs in nearly 50 countries.

Returning students from each of the programs will be available to answer questions. A free application fee, valued at $30, will be given away every 15 minutes and refreshments will be provided.

According to study abroad coordinator Cheryl Lochner-Wright, partners representing programs in Australia, Costa Rica/Nicaragua, England, France, Greece, Ireland, Japan, Scotland, and Spain, as well as the EducatorsAbroad student teaching program, will be present at the fair.
