Courses for the Essentials of Business Administration Certificate to be offered

EAU CLAIRE — Courses for the Essentials of Business Administration Certificate will be offered through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education and the College of Business. The courses are all online and can be taken for academic credit or non-credit continuing education units. Participants may take one course or complete two required and five elective courses to earn an Essentials of Business Administration Certificate.

Registration for the following courses will be accepted through Oct. 18:

  • "Introduction to the World of Business": An overview of the business environment, including functional areas within business and how they work together. This online course runs from Oct. 25-Nov. 19. Non-credit cost is $175 plus textbook. Credit cost is undergraduate tuition rate plus $135 special course fee.
  • "Essentials of Management": Learn skills needed in a management role, including planning, organizing, directing and controlling organizational activities. This online course runs from Oct. 25-Dec. 17. Non-credit cost is $350 plus textbook. Credit cost is undergraduate tuition rate plus $270 special course fee.
