SUBJECT: New university student center design plans to be unveiled

Plans for the new university student center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will be revealed Wednesday, Sept. 15, during sessions at noon and 4 p.m. in Schofield Auditorium, Schofield Hall. Members of the media are welcome to attend either session.

Each session will include a presentation of plans for the new facility's interior design, floor plans, exterior views, sustainability features and proposed timeline. A question-and-answer session will follow each presentation. Members of the University Student Center Steering Committee; Russ Van Gilder, project manager from the Division of State Facilities; and Ashraf Sadek of Bray Architects will be on hand to answer questions.
