Media Memo: New UW-Eau Claire Children's Center design plans to be presented

SUBJECT: New UW-Eau Claire Children's Center design plans to be presented

Plans for the proposed new University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Children's Center will be presented to the campus community Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 3:30 p.m. in the Wisconsin Room of Davies Center. Members of the media are welcome to attend the session.

The session will include a presentation of plans for the new facility's interior design, floor plans, exterior views, sustainability features and proposed timeline. A question-and-answer session will follow. Members of the Children's Center Steering Committee and Raivo Balciunas of Ayres Associates will be on hand to answer questions.

A public meeting regarding the draft environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the proposed project will follow at 5:30 p.m., also in the Wisconsin Room. (See the online notice of this meeting.)
