EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will host the 2010 International Folk Fair from noon-4 p.m. Nov. 7 in Davies Center. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
The International Folk Fair brings the community together in celebration of culture and offers an enriching cultural and educational experience.
Participants will have an opportunity to sample foods from around the world, be entertained by international performers, see colorful cultural exhibits, and experience the history and languages of other cultures without leaving Eau Claire.
Students, community organizations and university departments represent more than 40 different countries/cultures each year at the fair, including cultural groups that share information about global causes.
