Career Fair for nursing, health-related majors set for Oct. 14

EAU CLAIRE — The Nursing and Health Care Professional Career Fair will be held from noon-4 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The event provides an opportunity for students to come and meet with different employers in the health care field. Students will be able to build contacts, discover job opportunities, enhance their professionalism and learn more about specific organizations.

The fair is sponsored by the Eau Claire Student Nurses Association and assisted by Career Services. Along with nursing students, the event is open to students majoring in social work, kinesiology, communication sciences and disorders, music therapy, environmental public health and health care administration.

The event is free but not open to the public.
