EAU CLAIRE — The three candidates for Wisconsin's 3rd Congressional District seat will debate at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Oct. 20.
Incumbent Democrat Ron Kind and Republican candidate Dan Kapanke, both of La Crosse, and independent candidate Michael Krsiean of Houlton in St. Croix County will discuss issues from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Council Fire Room of UW-Eau Claire's Davies Center.
A coffee and dessert social will follow.
Sponsors of the debate are the UW-Eau Claire Society of Professional Journalists, the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate, AARP Wisconsin, the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram and WQOW-TV. The event is free and open to the public.
