Jang is an art education professor of Jeonju National University in South Korea and is working with the UW-Eau Claire department of art & design and the College of Education and Human Sciences. He and Han have studied Korean traditional painting for the past 20 years and their work reflects Korean traditional method. Jang's exhibit is titled "Landscapes — Eau Claire" and Han's is titled "Flowers."
"I think this show will be very interesting because I mix west (America) and east (Korea) in my paintings," Jang said.
Foster Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays, 6-8 p.m. Thursdays and 1-4:30 p.m. weekends. Entry to the gallery is free and open to the public.
