EAU CLAIRE — An opening reception for an exhibit of student artwork will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 11 in the lobby of McIntyre Library at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The exhibit, titled "Thirteen Books: An Exhibition of Artists' Books by Students," includes works by students who are currently enrolled in the UW-Eau Claire art class "Artists' Book: Image and Text." The works will be on display through Jan. 24, 2011.
During the opening reception guests will be able to meet the artists and discuss their works. This will be the only time guests will be able to handle the books as they will be in a display case for the remainder of the exhibition. Refreshments will be served at the reception, which is free and open to the public.
