Fun and games to take place at McIntyre Library Nov. 13

RELEASED: Nov. 1, 2010 National Game Day logo

EAU CLAIRE — The McIntyre Library at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will join libraries across the country in recognizing National Gaming Day from 1-5 p.m. Nov. 13. The free event, which is open to the public, will take place in Room 2022 on the second floor breezeway of the library.

Those interested in meeting others interested in fun and games will find plenty to choose from and are invited to bring their own games.

Games provided will include:

  • Video games for Game Cube, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast, including Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart-Double Dash, Time Splitters 2, Golden Eye, Mario Cart 64 and Soulcalibur.
  • Playing cards and chips for poker, including Texas Hold'em.
  • Betting and trivia games such as Wits and Wagers.
  • Board and dice games, such as Scattergories, Boggle, Scrabble, Jenga, Chess, Othello, 10 Days In, Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Mmmm Brains, Ticket to Ride and many more.
