Golden Key International Honor Society initiates new members

RELEASED: May 18, 2010

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire chapter of the Golden Key International Honor Society recently inducted 97 students at UW-Eau Claire.

Audrey Mohr, New Ulm, Minn., and Bridget Gongora, Rochester, Minn., each received national Golden Key undergraduate scholarships.

UW-Eau Claire Golden Key officers for the 2010-11 academic year are Josh Mondor, New Richmond, president; Greg Wiora, Mauston, vice-president; Emily King, Rochester, Minn., treasurer; Lauren Demcak, Sun Prairie, secretary; Shannon Jehn, Appleton, historian; Kelly Brock, Waukesha, social chair; Paul Thompson, Menomonee Falls, service director; Bridget Gongora, Rochester, Minn., and Lorrie Rindahl, Arcadia, grad fair directors; and Linda Zinn, Westby, and Audrey Mohr, New Ulm, Minn, webmasters.

Golden Key is an academic honor society which recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines. It has nearly 350 chapters at colleges and universities in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States and awards more than $400,000 annually through numerous scholarship and award programs.
