Viennese Ball tickets still available

graphic image for Viennese BallEAU CLAIRE — Friday-night tickets remain for the 36th annual Viennese Ball to be held April 9 and 10 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Tickets for Saturday night's event are sold out.

Walk-up and phone sales now are being accepted at the Service Center in Davies Center's east lobby. The Service Center is open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. weekends.

Patrons also may charge their tickets to MasterCard, Visa or Discover when ordering by phone. Call 715-836-3727 — or, outside the immediate Eau Claire area, call toll-free 800-949-UWEC. A $3 handling fee will be added to all telephone charge orders. A printable ticket order form and information about dress and activities at the ball may be found on the Viennese Ball Web site.

The largest social event hosted annually by the university, the Viennese Ball is presented from 6:30 p.m.-1 a.m. in Davies Center. The event promotes positive university, community and international relations by expanding an awareness and appreciation of Viennese culture, history and music. Proceeds provide music scholarships and international study awards for deserving UW-Eau Claire students.
