EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff as well as community members are invited to participate in the fourth annual International Poetry Reading from 7-9 p.m. April 26 in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center.
The event showcases the beauty of languages from around the world. No poetry is read in standard English, but English translations of all poems are provided. Last year more than 200 attendees heard poems in 35 different languages, according to event organizers Dr. Audrey Fessler, assistant professor of English and women's studies, and Dr. Jeff Vahlbusch, associate professor of German and director of the university Honors Program.

The event is hosted by UW-Eau Claire's English Fest 2010 and sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Center for International Education and the foreign languages and English departments.
